There were some really nice fish that hit the net during the 2023 season! I'll start the slide show off with the biggest of the year - a monster 54.5" fish with really pronounced markings. Congrats to my client, James, on this catch of a lifetime. I'm starting to put my calendar together for the 2024 season. I may have an opening or two so get in touch ASAP if you'd like to fish Lac Seul with Ben Beattie Outdoors. As usual, I'll be running Walleye trips from May 18th - June 30th. From July 1st on, Musky only!! Musky trips will once again be 5 day trips, fishing Monday through Friday. May and June is Multi-Species time on Lac Seul. Walleye, Bass and Pike take center stage. This season we had the best post spawn walleye fishing I've ever experienced. Volume was high and the average size was generous. The biggest Walleye in the Lund this year measured 30.5 inches. As always, the team at Ontario Out of Doors magazine does a great job bringing my articles and photos to life. Click through the slide show to get a look at the lead page for one of my recent walleye fishing feature articles. |
